Booking a massage at your hotel or holiday villa involves two arrangements: the massage appointment and permission to bring a visiting practitioner into the property. Confirm both before assuming the session can take place.
A mobile massage provider does not control a hotel’s visitor policy, room access or rules for outside practitioners. Your host or reception can explain those rules; the massage team can then confirm whether the proposed visit works.
For a hotel, ask reception first
Tell reception that you would like an external massage practitioner to visit your room. Ask whether it is permitted, whether a visitor must register and whether there are time or access restrictions. Some properties may require another suitable room or have arrangements with their own spa.
Once permission is clear, tell the team the hotel name, booking name or access instructions needed for the visit. Do not share door codes or other sensitive access details unnecessarily in a public message. Agree the secure handover with the team and reception.
For a villa, check the host’s arrangements
A rented villa may have a gate, a private road, managed security or a host who needs to authorise outside service providers. Confirm the address actually used for arrival: the listing name alone may not identify the entrance.
Explain stairs, lifts, parking limitations and the route from the entrance to the treatment space. These details are important because the practitioner travels with equipment. If you do not yet have the final address, say so and obtain a provisional discussion rather than assuming a confirmed booking.
Choose space for the table and for privacy
A room needs enough space for the table and for the practitioner to move around it. Clear luggage, furniture or other obstacles where practical, and describe the available area if you are unsure. For simultaneous couples massage, discuss space for two tables.
An outdoor area is an option to request, not an automatic guarantee. Privacy, shade, weather and a stable surface must be suitable and agreed. Have an indoor alternative to discuss if the conditions change.
Plan around check-in and check-out
Request a time when you know the accommodation will be available. An appointment just before check-out may not leave room for access, preparation and packing. If your arrival depends on a flight or transfer, tell the team and agree how changes will be handled.
Also identify any quiet hours or other property restrictions. For consecutive sessions, count each person’s treatment time rather than treating a group booking as a single one-hour visit.
Confirm the complete arrangement
- Property permission and visitor registration.
- Exact entrance and room or treatment-space access.
- Treatment, duration and number of people.
- Appointment time and any fixed finish time.
- Total price, travel where applicable, payment and cancellation.
In the Algarve, standard 60- and 90-minute individual references are €95 and €120, with equipment and local travel included. Other regions have their own reference prices. Send your accommodation and preferred session to ask for availability; the form itself does not reserve a slot.
